All XG1™ Data Radios and Base Stations must be installed with external lightning protection devices on the RF antenna port and the input power connection.

Antenna Port

Adapt4's DC block is designed to pass RF frequencies and block all DC. The protectors appear as a DC open between surge and protected ports.
